Amber attracts strength and clarity, helps establish inner balance. Amber is said to come from the tears shed by the Heliades. When their brother Phaeton died driving Helios' chariot, they mourned and grieved so much that the gods took pity on them and changed all three into poplar trees. Grieving, they kept crying. Their tears became resin, which turned into amber.
