In the Temple of the cursed Pharaoh, Tutankhamun, a lake had been found with two scarabs beside it. Several archaeologists, wondering what it could have meant, concluded that the water from the lake could have been used to fertilize the royal gardens, and the scarabs to "protect" it from thieves....as the royal garden was in the middle of the desert....
