The most famous love talisman in history and whose original still exists is that of Catherine de Medici, Queen of France. This amulet has been studied by numerous scientists of her time and ours.

A scientific study gave the following result: It is undoubtedly about a woman of high rank, who wanted to conquer and secure the love of a warlord from the high nobility. One side of this talisman depicts the god Jupiter, the eagle of Ganymede, and a demon with the head of Anubis, an Egyptian god. The other side suggests that the medal is mainly about love, as it bears the name of Hagiel, the planetary intelligence of Venus, and contains a picture of Venus herself, flanked by demons.
The talisman also bears the demonic name of Asmodei, the demon of carnal desire, which indicates that it is not only about the love of a young woman for a man, but about the energetic conquest of this love. One of them tells that King Solomon tricked the demon and obliged him to collaborate in building the temple of Jerusalem. In another legend Asmodei changed place for some years with King Solomon.
