Vikings were not very religious in the respect that they did not pray but, on the other hand, rites existed in natural places (because there were no temples). Sacrifice was frequent, blood was collected and was used to consult omens, the meat of sacrificed animal was then consumed.
The Pantheon is composed of a giant with a spear: Odin, the All Father; Freyja, a goddess closely connected with warfare, who, along with the Valkyries, divides the slain warriors with Odin; and Thor with his hammer Mjölnir, who would crush anything that may harm humans or gods.
