JET
It comes from an accumulation of dead and decaying organisms, mud and detritus, falling on top of wood trapped under the earth. Due to density effect, the sap rose to the surface and got trapped. Carbonization occurred under the influence of decaying liquid, but partial polymerization of sap created this type of coal. Jet is a product of high pressure decomposition of wood from millions of years ago.
It is a geological material derived from decaying wood under extreme pressure, and thus organic. Jet has a soothing effect when worn, with similar physical effects to amber. Once again, the knowledge of our ancestors was recognized by science.
